Hopefully, this can be seen as 'landscape architecture' visualisation - the main reason I selected Kumba as the subject of the animation was from a deep appreciation of the design work done with the landscape and setting.
Main focus was capturing the energy, feeling and sense of scale that you get when experiencing it in real life - and I think the main point of what we do day to day is translating how something feels, or may feel, into a visual medium.
6 months of methodical work, sun-thurs, 8pm-midnight with very few days off.
