This year the 3D Awards will be presented on stage at the World Visualization Festival (WVF) in Warsaw, Poland.

Category Types
The CGconnect 3D Awards have eight separate categories: Best Image Commissioned, Best Image Non-Commissioned, Best Image Student, Best Film/Animation Commissioned, Best Film/Animation Non-Commissioned, Interactive, Viz Pro of the Year, and Studio of the Year.
