Planned on the eastern edge of the Interives district, the new Astrolabe marks one of the gateways to this former industrial area now undergoing transformation. Conceived as an urban landmark, it establishes a new point of reference within the northern landscape of Orléans. Surrounded by greenery, the building rises above its setting, with a silhouette visible from across the railway tracks and along the main routes leading from the city center.
Beyond its cultural mission, the Astrolabe is designed as a true “third place,” fostering a sense of belonging for all audiences through its distinctive image and the design of its interior and exterior spaces.
