This is a Buddha statue that I modeled, sculpted, and rendered for my Senior project for my Graphic and Animation Design Major as part of a larger assignment.

The goal of this project was to create something related to what we wanted to pursue after graduation. To have something to put on our portfolio to serve as a culmination of what we learned during our time at college in our respective career goals.

I chose to 3D model an environment of Vietnamese-American household celebrating Vietnamese New Year in America. I wanted to do this because I wanted to connect more with my own culture and learn more about their customs and traditions for their celebrations.

Since we could only submit one image, I chose to submit an image showcasing the sculpted Buddha statue, as that part of the project was the part that took the longest for me to model, and the part that I am the most proud of.
