Komorebi – A short film about the intimate world of a Japanese textile dyer's house.
The narrative follows the path of white silk through the meditative process of painting and dyeing, until it reaches its final form: an intricate kimono that evokes the soul of nature and its origins. My goal was to tell a story through quiet, atmospheric moments with my own music rather than a conventional walkthrough. The film explores the symbiosis of traditional architecture and craftsmanship with modern materials, aiming to capture the essence of "Komorebi" – sunlight filtering through the trees.
Technical note: Every shot is a rendered 3D still image animated with AI.
