The Yellow Recurrence
I have a problem. Every time I sit down to design an interior, a yellow sofa appears.
This project started as a test assignment for an Austrian real estate developer. Brief: visualize an apartment from their floor plan. Timeline: two days.
I designed the full interior concept around mid-century restraint and warm geometry. Chevron parquet because it had to be done right. Mustard yellow sofa because apparently I can't help myself. Natural light flooding through floor-to-ceiling windows onto a private lawn, because the space deserved to breathe.
The challenge was to make it contemporary but rooted in something timeless.
Full scene built from scratch: interior, exterior, lawn, lighting. Two days, one render, zero regrets about the sofa color.
Year: 2026
Deliverables: Concept development, photorealistic stills, full interior/exterior 3D modeling, material/lighting setup, post-production
Role: Creative Direction, 3D Visualization
