Notes
This project explores the idea of immersive architecture, where the boundary between built space and nature becomes intentionally blurred. The cabin is not designed as a dominant object, but as a quiet presence—subtly embedded within the forest.
The goal was to convey a sense of retreat: a contemporary refuge that feels both intimate and contemplative.
The composition is built around a subtle contrast between stillness and movement.
Inside, a static figure suggests introspection and calm; outside, a blurred runner introduces energy and a sense of time passing.
This duality reflects two ways of inhabiting the space—active and contemplative—while the wooden pathway acts as a visual guide.
Lighting plays a central role in defining the mood. The scene is shaped by soft, directional morning light filtering through the trees, enhanced by volumetric rays that interact with a light atmospheric haze.
