THE MERIDIAN
He had been hearing it for some time. Not a sound, a pressure. A frequency. A single word, repeated without voice, without origin:
Come.
He told no one. He simply began walking.
Across countries and unnamed deserts, guided by something older than instinct, he followed a calling he could not explain toward a structure no map had ever named. Monolithic. Brutalist. Ancient in a way that had nothing to do with time. A building with no windows, no signs, no purpose anyone had ever been able to prove.
Until he found what was hidden at its core, a living tree growing from the concrete floor, roots splitting stone like scripture, light falling from nowhere, warm and golden, in a place where no warmth should exist.
And there, in the silence of that impossible room, everything he had been searching for finally found him.
The Meridian. Location undisclosed. Purpose unknown.
The path to salvation.
This project was created for the CGconnect 3D Awards — a cinematic brutalist movie clip exploring mystery, solitude, and the architecture of the soul. Inspired by the visual language of Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve.
