Title : The Future We Once Looked Up To
“Dreams are never owned by one person—they are carried across time.”
This work explores the idea of the continuity of dreams across time.
The child in the foreground represents a pure and unformed vision of the future—someone who is just beginning to dream.
The father, supporting him, represents a past version of that same act—someone who once looked up with similar aspirations.
In contrast, the rocket and its surrounding structures in the distance symbolize the realization of those dreams—the tangible outcome of human ambition and effort.
By placing these three elements—the child, the father, and the rocket—within a single composition,
the image brings together different temporal states: dreaming, remembering, and realizing.
The physical distance and the presence of the fence emphasize the gap between imagination and reality,
while the shared sky acts as a unifying element that connects all perspectives.
Rather than focusing on an individual dream,
this work aims to visualize the flow of dreams—how they are passed on, transformed, and ultimately realized across generations.
